Beyond grateful for the chance to celebrate #eidal

Beyond grateful for the chance to celebrate #eidalfitr from the comfort of our small home with the family. Yet it's so unfortunate & heartbreaking that what the world's currently facing doesn't allow many of our sisters and brothers to experience the same privilege. A small reminder to keep them in our thoughts and prayers, and to keep trying to find helpful ways to ease their pain however small so إِنْ شَاءَ ٱللَّٰهُ they will be granted strengths and resources to carry on.

Wishing everyone a safe and blissful long weekend, and #eidmubarak from my family to yours!

[Cerita tentang #bajulebaran]

Jadi biasanya ku selalu jadiin lebaran sbg excuse tuk beli dress2 yang ujung2nya kepakenya hanya setaun sekali. Tahun ini pun sama, ku ikut PO suatu dress di sebuah website berinisial LF. Singkat cerita, somehow ada kesalahan sistem (at least that's what they said) jadi setelah seminggu sejak bayar dan barangnya gak sampe2, ku nanya mereka dan baru ketahuan bahwa barangnya somehow udah sold out.

Berhubung udah mepet lebaran dan udah mager milih2 lagi - karena baju tsb pun hasil mikir 3 hari 3 malem (literally) saking bingung mau ambil yg mana krn ada 3 opsi yg equally ciamik - yasudahlah gak beli baju baru dan pakai kaftan dari bertahun2 yang lalu ini jadinya. Ditambahin outer linen biar gak persis2 amat sama setelan yang dulu.

Intinya semacam diingetin untuk lebih #mindful soal pakaian. Since I work for an industry that is not exactly the most #sustainable (🙃), I thought at least my daily lifestyle should probably start heading there little by little. Susah sih, but better trying than not at all.

Not Eid cookies, but now wondering if I should've

Not Eid cookies, but now wondering if I should've made these for this year's hampers... These are low-fat, sugar-free (well, 99% lol), healthy cookies btw. No refined flour, no refined sugar for the dough, no butter. Those were replaced with whole wheat flour, honey, and coconut oil. Sprinkled with a tiiiny pinch of sugar for decor purpose, topped with some edible flowers🌸

Made these last year for Bunda & Sirka right when I just got back from perantauan so naturally I still had that remaining spark about baking lol. Never touched the oven again ever since. 🙃 Wonder if I should?
